It’s with great excitement that I get to announce the
podcast goes live this week!
Thanks to our District 10 sponsorship, this blog will go audio. Presentations about the DTM award, tips to get there, life-hacks to make it easier and faster, and reviews of the various Toastmasters materials will come to you via podcast.
What’s a podcast?
Good question. A podcast is a web-based file that can be downloaded and listened to on demand. There’s a feed that you can subscribe to for notices of new episodes. Apple willing, it will be in iTunes for easy access. I plan to upload to Stitcher.com for those who prefer the Android platform. Or you’ll be able to come hear it here.
Then you can listen when you want, where you want. On your iPhone. On your mp3. On your tablet or iPad. We’re working to get our podcasts uploaded so you can listen in your car during your commute, or while you walk or bike around town. Podcasts aren’t new – they’ve been around for 10 years. Toastmasters International even has a podcast going already.
Watch for our announcement on the District 10 Facebook Page and the District10.org website.
If you want to participate, the microphone is open. Contact me at
Talk On The Table with this link. If you have ideas you’d like to share, questions you want answered, or DTM stories to tell us, let us know.
The DTM Mentorship Program is unique to District 10 – no other Toastmasters district that we know of has developed this mentoring program to help our members press on past the Competent Communicator and Competent Leader manuals. If you’re thinking about getting your DTM, we’re here to help you. Contact Mentor Me with this link so we can help you.by
